For the entire month of December, mint green jewelry will be in the spotlight. I’ll be showing you a new mint green handmade jewelry item each day. 🙂 Here’s today’s new item, I haven’t listed this item on Etsy yet so just click on the photo to go to my facebook page where you can purchase this set:
I’ve created a 2nd treasury for BNS Round 28 to bring in some more traffic for the round. Come by and check it out. click here
If you purchase from any of the featured sellers, your Etsy shop is featured in the next round. If you purchase ANY ITEM (not just the featured item!) from a featured seller, be sure to post in the treasury comments to let us know so you can be added to the next round. Just post “Purchased from <shope name> and the link to the item you bought (which will now be a transaction link instead of a listing link).
Don’t have an etsy shop? You can still come shop and use the coupons! There’s some great coupons listed in the treasury comments!

Over the past week, I’ve focused on adding some simpler pieces to my Etsy shop. I created these necklaces because I tend to wear necklaces with only a pendant often and have noticed that many of my friends also mostly wear simple pieces. I think the simplicity of these pieces bring out the individual charm. Here’s a few of my newest items. What do you think? Click on the images to view the items in my Etsy shop. 🙂
As I’ve said before, I love fall! I love the cool weather, the smell of autumn, caramel apples, apple cider, pumpkin rolls and pies…I just love fall. I grew up in the mountains of Virginia and the changing of the leaves is so gorgeous. I miss that now that I’d in a larger city away from the mountains even though the trees are quite beautiful here when they change also. There’s just something about the changing leaves and mountain air that makes the change even more remarkable!
I’m so excited about fall that I can’t seem to get fall out of my head! Today I created this treasury over on Etsy to show off some other artists’ gorgeous fall items. Just click on the photo if you’d like to go to the actual treasury to shops around. Aren’t these items just beautiful?!
Fall is slowly trickling into the Bluegrass! Thank goodness because this girl isn’t made for steamy hot weather. I’m like chocolate…I start melting at just about room temperature! haha. Seriously, the humidity here in the Bluegrass the past couple of months has made anything outside very unattractive.
With fall weather, I’m enjoying the outdoors again. I’m doing a cycling adventure to raise money for the American Lung Association this weekend. It will also allow me to mark Shakertown, KY off my bucket list. 🙂 I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures and blog that adventure.
Fall weather also makes me want to knit again. During the summer months I can’t even think of picking up a warm piece of yarn. But my knitting supplies are making their way out of my craft storage a little at a time now. I’m finishing up a scarf that I started last year! how embarrassing is that! I put it down for an entire year!
Fall also brings out the browns, reds, and orange in my jewelry making. I’ve craved leaves and autumn jewelry for the past few weeks. Here’s a few things I’ve created.
I’ve also decided I want to start quilting over the fall/winter months. I’ve decided to retire some of my old sentimental teeshirts and make them into a quilt so I can enjoy them forever without wearing battered teeshirts everywhere. haha. I’m going to start that tonight at girls night. We’ve started our weekly girls nights again and it’s fabulous seeing my girlfriends once a week again. Lots more adventures to come I’m sure.
What projects have you planned for fall and winter?
