After my morning workout and shower, I had a terrible time actually making it across campus to work today. It was such a beautiful morning! The skies were blue and the wind was gently blowing and the morning just had that perfect chilly fall feeling to it. I half expected to look across campus and see a pumpkin field pop up out of know where. So in honor of the beautiful autumn day we have here in Kentucky, I’m sharing some pretty fall handmade items from across the country that I’ve found on Etsy. Just click on the image to go to the shops for each of these items.

So I spent a week in Copenhagen, Denmark this month (posts and pictures about that coming soon) and it was a very nice city. However, after a week of cafe food and concrete I was soooo happy to be back in the bluegrass! As I was riding my bike out along the back roads where the horse farms are here in Lexington, a group of horses gathered and ran beside me. That’s one of the many reasons I love Lexington, Ky! 🙂 I love the horses and the untouched natural beauty of the horse farms. With that in mind, I created this treasury of horse related Etsy items. Several local artists are included here. Check out locals – Reimagined by Luna, Patsy’s Joys, Tea Horse Studio, and Sand K Kreations, and Tiffany Dawn Photo.

I can put it up myself!!!
Pros: Easy Set-up, Sturdy, Attractive Design
Best Uses: Farmers markets, Festivals
Describe Yourself: Do-It-Yourself
I am so excited about this tent. I sell jewelry at our local artist market and have struggled the past year with a tent that I could not put up by myself. It took both my husband and I to fight with that tent to get it locked in and this limited where I could go to sell my jewelry since I always needed help with setup. I put this new tent up by myself!! For all the women worried it takes a big guy to put this tent up, I’m 5’3 and I was able to put this tent up easily by myself! I highly recommend it!
For my birthday, my wonderful mother-in-law gave me a Keurig coffee pot. It looked like a simple one cup brewing coffee machine and I wasn’t quite sure it was worth all the hype…that was until I used it. A month later, I’m in love with it. It brews the best coffee I have ever had! Also, my husband and I like different kinds of coffee and this little brewer makes it so easy to make both kinds and not waste anything. Is anyone else in love with their Keurig coffee brewer?
I’m experimenting with coffee recipes with my machine. Do you have any recipes to share? There’s a few on the Keurig website. http://www.keurig.com/
